Stowe Court Man Wanted On Sexual Assault Charges

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ)—Police in Baltimore County are searching for a wanted suspect after they say he sexually assaulted a transgender woman last weekend.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. on July 25 in the 3400 block of Gaither Road.

Police say the suspect, 24-year-old Tavon Horton, of Stowe Court, and a 31-year-old transgender woman, became acquainted with each other through Facebook and agreed to meet in person.

Police say shortly after a walk, Horton produced a handgun and told the victim to enter the tree line, where she was later sexually assaulted by the suspect.

Horton is wanted on charges of first degree assault, first degree sex offense and other related charges.
