State Trooper Seize 70 Grams of Marijuana & More in Traffic Stop

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Maryland State Troopers seized about 70 grams of marijuana and more in a traffic stop Sunday morning.

Around 6:27 a.m., Trooper Coss observed a black SUV towing a trailer swerving all over the road traveling north on I-270 near Shady Grove Road. The trooper pulled the Toyota Sequoia with Florida tags over and smelled marijuana.

Troopers had a probable cause to search the vehicle and discovered 69.9 grams of marijuana, prescription pills in an unmarked bottle, two small baggies of heroin, seven marijuana plants in a white Styrofoam box and $2,260.

Police charged Kenneth Schuler, 64, Kevin Schuler, 32, and Megan Winn, 32, all from Boca Raton, Florida, with possession of controlled dangerous substance and intent to distribute.
