State Police Search For Escapee From Juvenile Detention Facility

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) --Police continue to search for a teen who escaped from a juvenile detention facility.

Leondro Ovalles Solano, 17, escaped from the Charles Hickey School with another 17-year-old boy Monday around 5 p.m.

The second teen was apprehended shortly before 11 p.m.

Officials say the two 17-year-olds escaped Monday afternoon by climbing a fence and fleeing into the woods toward Notchcliff Road. The boy who was caught was found near Waltham Woods Road in Parkville; he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Ovalles Solano is still at large.

Ovalles Solano is Hispanic and between 6' and 6'2" and 165 pounds.

They believe he's in the Parkville area of Baltimore County.
