State Police Investigate 2-Month-Old Baby's Death

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland State Police is investigating the death of an infant in Carroll County over the weekend.

Police were called out to Carroll County General Hospital around 9:30 a.m. Sunday for a report of a deceased infant.

According to police, 2-month-old Davion Harrion was taken to the hospital by his mother after he was unresponsive. A neighbor had initially given the baby CPR in the unit block of Charles Street.

The state police were asked to assist with the investigation around 11 a.m.

The baby did not appear to have any outward signs of trauma, but an autopsy will determine his cause of death and manner.
