State Police ID Body Found In Wooded Area Near I-95

KINGSVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland State police have identified the body of a man found Tuesday in a wooded area off Interstate 95 in Baltimore County.

Police identified the man as 18-year-old Thomas Pope of the 3500 block of Honeysuckle Lane in Middle River. Pope's family had reported him missing on Oct. 26.

Pope's body was found just after noon on Oct. 27 near the mile marker 71.7. A calls came in from the MdTA and troopers immediately responded.

An autopsy has been conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and determined the manner of death is homicide.
