Sports Rehab: Michigan St. Preview With Terps Football Coach Randy Edsall

Maryland Terrapins head football coach Randy Esdall joined Bob and Glenn to discuss the upcoming game against Michigan St.

The Maryland Terrapins return to the field this Saturday night as they will host Michigan St in a Big Ten battle. The Spartans comes the College Park off a 49-37 home loss to Ohio St this pass weekend while the Terps last played two weeks ago beating Penn St for the first time since 1961 by a score of 20-19.

Coach Edsall feels that bye after the win at Penn State came a great time, allowing the players to rest and prepare for the upcoming game against Michigan State. Since Stefon Diggs will be out due to his suspension, Edsall said, "all of our outside receivers have to step up this week. Our receivers are going to have to play big. They're going to have to make plays." When asked about the leadership on defense, Edsall replied, "They're communicating really well, they're running to the football. You can see the cohesiveness."

Maryland will host Michigan State in all black this Saturday in support of #BlackoutSparty. This will be the Terps first primetime games in Byrd Stadium since 2011.
