Sports Rehab Interview - Jim Duquette
With All- Star 1st baseman Chris Davis injured over the weekend, former Oriole Vice President of Baseball Operations Jim Duquette joined Bob and Glenn on Sports Rehab to break down the impact the Chris Davis injury will have on the Orioles.
Davis went on the 15-Day Disabled List with a oblique strain over the weekend. That loss could force the O's to activate All-Star Shortstop Manny Machado sooner than they anticipated. Bob asked about the increase in oblique injuries around the Major Leagues. Duquette said that as he has talked to doctors, it just seems the injuries are a result of over training.
Davis is eligible to come off the DL in a couple weeks but there is a real possibility he could out pass the fifteen day period.
