Sports Rehab: Dan Connolly Talks Orioles

Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun joined Sports Rehab to discuss the Orioles as they continue Spring Training down in Florida.

The Orioles are hoping for catcher Matt Wieters to have a big year as he comes back from Tommy John surgery. That comeback took a slight hit as the Orioles announced Wednesday that Wieters will be shut down from catching duties for the next 7-10 days. The announcement came after Wieters started in Tuesday's game and caught seven full innings.

The All Star catcher has yet to record a hit thus far in his first 23 at-bats of Grapefruit League play. When asked if Wieters would be ready for Opening Day in Tampa on April 4th, Connolly replied 'Matt Wieters isn't lost for Opening Day yet but it is in jeopardy."
