Sports Rehab: Dan Connolly Talks Orioles Baseball

Dan Connolly of the Baltimore Sun joined Bob and Glenn to discuss Buck Showalter being named AL Manager of the Year and talk about the possible moves this offseason for the Orioles.

Regarding Buck Showalter, Dan says that the players trust him, "When a player trusts a manager to do their job, it's make their job a little easier. They're prepared; and they're prepared because he is so prepared. That's why I think he's one of the best managers in baseball. No one is as prepared as Buck Showalter."

Dan also gave his latest insights on the negotiations for outfielder Nick Markakis. They are close but there are some things that still need to be ironed out. "I still believe that Nick Markakis is going to end up as an Oriole but it seems like it should have been done a week ago, a week and a half ago, two weeks ago and it's dragged."
