Sports Rehab: Casey Stern talking new MLB commissioner and Orioles

Casey Stern of MLB Network Radio joined Sports Rehab with Glenn and Bob to discuss the election of the baseball's new commissioner.

Major League Baseball has a new commissioner and his name is Rob Manfred.

Manfred was voted in by the owners on Thursday. Manfred has been working full-time for MLB since 1998 when he served as Executive Vice President of Economics and League Affairs where he was the lead negotiator for MLB in the collective bargaining talks in 2002, 2006, and 2011. At the end of the 2013 season, Manfred was named as Chief Operating Officer.

Bob asked Casey about the MLB's new commish and Stern replied "the big question was how long would it take for him to get the 23 necessary votes. Not really a surprised. Manfred has been groomed for this."
