Ripken talked at length about O's right hander, Chris Tillman. "There was a overall demeanor that I really liked last year." said Ripken. "I'm not gonna drop a overall number one label on him just yet but if he has another year like last year, I'll be hard pressed not to put that label on him."

Ripken also talked about the Orioles lineup saying that he doesn't see much change from last year. "When you look at that lineup, its basically....thump. If somebody takes a week off or a month off, somebody will be there to pick up that slack and start hitting home runs with men on base."

Bill also addressed the controversy around players using performance enhancing drugs. "You should almost be obligated to play for the club you messed over for minimum salary. If they don't want, you have to go somewhere else for the league minimum until you earn your stripes back."
