2 killed in quadruple shooting in Baltimore

Two people are dead, and two more are in critical condition after a shooting in Southwest Baltimore, police said.

Police responded to the shooting in the Carrollton Ridge neighborhood, near the corner of McHenry Street and South Fulton Avenue, just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday.

Officers found four adults with multiple gunshot wounds inside a home in the 1800 block of McHenry Street, according to officials.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Three victims were rushed to the hospital, where a 42-year-old woman later died, officials said.

The remaining two victims, a 26-year-old woman and an unidentified man, are in critical but stable condition. None of the victims' names have been released at this time.

According to a dispatch call, one of the victims dialed 911, saying he can't stop the bleeding and was shot in the arm, leg and chest.

Neighbors in the area were alarmed to wake up to the shooting on Saturday.

"I'm really shocked because there hasn't been that much violence here recently. Just the regular things that happen in a neighborhood," Carrollton Ridge resident Christina Lawson said. "I know it's not the best neighborhood, but the violence has been down."

There is no information about a possible suspect.

So far, no arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to call Baltimore City Police Homicide Detectives at 866-7LOCKUP. Tips can be anonymous.
