Southwest Adds Summer Flights At BWI

BALTIMORE (WJZ)—Southwest Airlines has announced they will be boosting service starting this summer at Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport.

The airline says starting on June 5th they will add more BWI flights from Sunday through Friday to: Denver, CO; Hartford, CT, Manchester, NH, Oakland, CA, Orlando, FL and Tampa, FL.

On Saturdays, the airline will increase service to Hartford, CT, Nashville, TN, Orlando, FL, Seattle, WA and Tampa FL.

"We welcome these new Southwest flights, which will offer BWI Marshall passengers more travel options," said Ricky Smith, Chief Executive Officer for BWI Marshall. "Southwest continues to provide outstanding customer service and low fares for our customers."

Southwest Airlines is the largest carrier at BWI Marshall. The airline served more than 16.8 million passengers at BWI Marshall in 2015.
