Late Night Comedy Show Mocks NFL, Ravens

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A late night comedy show mocked the NFL, the Baltimore Ravens and the Carolina Panthers for their recent off-field player conduct issues.

In many primetime game broadcasts, they go through each team's lineup with each player stating their name and either their college or even high school. The cast of Saturday Night Live did a parody of that where the player would announce their name and then their crime.

It is clearly no accident that they chose the Ravens-Panthers game, as the two teams represented in light of both team's domestic violence issues and arrests. Former Ravens running back Ray Rice is currently unemployed and appealing his indefinite suspension by the league. Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy remains sidelined while he is awaiting jury trial on domestic violence charges.
