Small bridge in Baltimore County collapses after septic truck drives over it
A small bridge in Baltimore County collapsed as a septic truck drove across it Monday evening, according to the fire department.
Pictures from the scene show that a tree then fell onto the truck at the intersection of Philpot and Carroll roads near Cockeysville.
No injuries were reported from the bridge collapse.
The Maryland Department of the Environment responded to assess for any hazardous conditions, fire officials said.
The cause of the bridge collapse is under investigation, Baltimore County Police said Tuesday.
