Sisters Charged After Fatal Stabbing In Pocomoke City

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. (AP) -- State police say they've charged two sisters after a man was fatally stabbed while trying to break up a dispute at a Pocomoke City gas station.

Police announced that they arrested 22-year-old Kaneisha Johnson of Pocomoke City at a Hebron home late Monday and charged her with first- and second-degree murder.

Police say 25-year-old Derrick Collick was at a convenience store on Monday afternoon when a domestic dispute broke out at a gas pump between people he knew. When Collick tried to break up the dispute, police say he was stabbed and later died. Police have not detailed Johnson's role in the dispute.

Police say Johnson's 30-year-old sister, Latoya, was arrested at her Salisbury home and charged with assault and accessory after the fact of murder.
