Significant Delays On MARC Commuter Trains Amid Cold

BALTIMORE (AP) -- Some MARC commuter rail passengers are seeing their trains canceled or delayed Wednesday.

The Maryland Transit Administration says trains on its Frederick line were between 40 minutes and two-plus hours late because of frozen switches. Passengers are also seeing delays on the Camden and Brunswick lines.

One train on the Penn line scheduled to leave Washington, D.C.'s Union Station at 6:35 a.m. was canceled. Passengers were able to take the next train about 45 minutes later.
