Sheriff's Office Says No Threat Found At Winters Mill High

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- Carroll County Sheriff's Office are investigating a threat called into Winters Mill High Tuesday morning.

The school was put on lockdown around 9:45 a.m., while deputies searched the school and surrounding areas.

No threat was found and the lockdown was lifted around 11:30 a.m.

The sheriff's office is aware that multiple threats have been received throughout the region since Monday and they will work with other jurisdictions to resolve the case.
