Sheriff's Office: 2 Dead After ATV Crash In Harford County

PYLESVILLE, Md. (AP) -- Harford County authorities say two men have died after an ATV crash in Pylesville.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that the crash happened just before 1 a.m. on New Year's Day. The Sheriff's Office says both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene in the 2100 block of Telegraph Road. The Sheriff's Office says that preliminary information indicates the drivers of the ATVs were riding together at the time of the crash and that both men knew each other and had been celebrating the New Year at a home near the scene of the crash.

The Sheriff's Office identified the drivers as Timothy Gene Phillips of Pasadena and William Norman Womble of Glen Burnie. The Sheriff's Office says both men were 37. An investigation is ongoing.
