Sheila Dixon Says To Prevent These Incidents You Must Stay Out In Front Of Them

Sheila Dixon is the former Mayor of Baltimore City, who was removed from office for illegal activity.

Sheila joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Baltimore riots.

Sheila started off by talking about the Baltimore riots and the actions of Mayor Blake saying "I don't want to speculate what I would have done if I were Mayor but the tragedy of Freddie Gray was an expression of people's feelings of what is going on around the country." As for moving past this incident and being ready for the future Sheila said "you have to be out in front of these issues...on Saturday when the uprising started you have to be prepared and there were warning signs on social media, you have to have all levels of government prepared to act." Sheila also talked about agitators from the outside making the situation worse, and changes that need to be made for how poorer communities are treated.
