Brush Fires Limit Rail Service Across Parts Of Md.

JESSUP, Md. (WJZ) -- A number of brush fires limit rail service across parts of Maryland.

Sky Eye Chopper 13 was over scenes in Jessup, Elkridge and Laurel.

Fires spread along the CSX tracks from the Howard and Baltimore County line to the Anne Arundel County line.

All trains were held until crews got the fires under control. There were multiple road closures as well.

No one was injured in the fires. Two small storage sheds were damaged.

There will be limited service on the MARC's Camden Line on Thursday morning.

Only three trains will operate:

  • Train 845 (6:10 a.m. departure from Camden Yards)
  • Train 851 (8:05 a.m. departure from Camden Yards)
  • Train 846 (8:00 a.m. departure from Union Station)

Passengers should expect delays.
