Member Of Baltimore City Fire Dept. Taken To Shock Trauma After Serious Accident

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A member of the Baltimore City Fire Department is hospitalized following a serious accident in Northeast Baltimore.

It happened just before 6 p.m. Sunday at Loch Raven Boulevard and Cold Spring Lane.

City fire officials say a battalion chief SUV was responding to a call when the accident occurred.

One member of the fire department was taken to Shock Trauma in serious condition.

Four others were taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Baltimore City Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
