Trash Truck And SUV Collide In Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Md. (WJZ) -- A serious accident involving a trash truck and SUV is under investigation.

It happened in the 1100 block of Westminster Pike in Westminster. The Maryland State Police Medivac helicopter was on scene.

One lane of Westminster Pike is now open in each direction.

Motorists are advised to find an alternate route around the area.
