Search Suspended For Man Missing From Boat In South River

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- Police and fire crews searched for a man missing from a boat in the South River. It has been suspended but will resume Sunday morning.

Authorities say a 47-year-old man jumped off the 25-foot boat to get his hat and didn't resurface. He was not wearing a life jacket.

Family members were on board the boat.

Anne Arundel County fire and Maryland Natural Resources police were searching for the man, but they say that it has now become a recovery operation.
