Search For Murder Suspects In Caroline Co.

FEDERALSBURG (WJZ)-- State and local police are searching for several suspects believed to have been involved in the murder of a Caroline County man.

Police responded to a home in the 200 block of Morris Avenue in Federalsburg shortly after 6:30pm Monday. Officers found Travon L. Farrow, 23, inside his home with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

Farrow was taken to the Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Delaware where he was pronounced dead.

The preliminary investigation indicates that Farrow and his wife were inside their home with their two children, when a knock was heard at the front door. When the victim asked who was there, two suspects entered the residence. The two suspects were described as wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts.

The suspects demanded Farrow give them everything he had before a gunshot was fired. The victim's children were sleeping and neither they nor his wife were injured.

Investigators say several suspects, described as African American males, may have been involved. Anyone with information about this murder, or who may have seen the suspects in the area, is urged to contact Maryland State Police immediately at 410-819-4747.
