Victim Of Unprovoked Attack Seeks Good Samaritan Who Helped Him

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- After a subway rider was the target of an unprovoked attack by two teens, he's now looking for a George Washington University law student who may have saved his life.

"This was a totally unprovoked attack," said John Rowley. "There was nothing said to me. Um, and one jumped at me, he put his shoulder into my chest, tried to knock me down."

Rowley was attacked by two teens on the Gallery Place Metro platform.

He suffered a broken hand, but says it it could have been much worse if a young man hadn't stepped in.

He is now searching for that Good Samaritan so he can thank him.

Metro calls the attack disturbing, but says the station officer and their closed circuit real time cameras helped capture the suspects right away.

Both teens face charges of aggravated assault.
