Scott McBrien On A Tough 31-30 Loss For The Terps In Baltimore

Scott McBrien is a former Maryland quarterback who is know part of the Maryland Terrapins Radio Network.

Scott joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Terps 31-30 loss to Penn State in Baltimore over the weekend.

Steve asked Scott about his thoughts on the performance on Maryland quarterback Perry Hills. Scott noted that Perry looked good at times, but he will need to cut down on the turnovers moving forward, "unfortunately the turnovers killed him. He competed, moved the ball and made some big throws that we haven't seen him make before. He needs to eliminate the turnovers though."

Ed asked Scott if he thinks the Terps have looked re-energized since firing Randy Edsall. Scott believes the Terps have looked re-energized since the coaching change, likening the teams response to that of students being taught by a substitute teacher, "they definitely looked a lot better. They competed and those are the kind of games you want to see from Maryland week in and week out."

Scott went on to discuss why Randy Edsall wasn't successful with Maryland, what makes Maryland interim head coach Mike Locksley such a good recruiter, and the play of Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins on Sunday against the Buccaneers.
