School Bus Crashes After Driver Suffers Medical Emergency

PASADENA, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County officials say a school bus driver is in critical condition after she suffered a medical emergency and crashed.

Media outlets report that county fire department spokesman Capt. Russ Davies said the bus went off Geneva Road in Pasadena early Wednesday and hit a fence.

Davies says two students on the bus were not injured. One called 911, saying the driver suffered a medical emergency that led to the crash.

County schools spokesman Bob Mosier says the bus was headed to Northeast High School.

Davies says the driver was taken to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie in critical condition.
