Sauerkraut Is Most Googled Thanksgiving Recipe In Maryland
NEW YORK (WJZ) – The New York Times teamed up with Google to determine the most searched distinctive Thanksgiving recipes in each state.
In Maryland, sauerkraut was the clear winner, but two apple dishes made the top 10.
In nearby Delaware, a dessert called "pretzel salad" made the list, while in Virginia it's collard greens.
Washington DC also had a uniquely regional item -- corn pudding.
