Salisbury Target Store Evacuated After Bomb Threat

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A Target in Salisbury was evacuated Thursday after police say a bomb threat was called into the store.

Officers from the Salisbury Police Department responded around 11:40 a.m.

After the store was evacuated, bomb-detecting dogs from throughout the region were brought in to search the building.

Nothing was found and the store was reopened several hours later.

The Dover Police Department in Delaware also received a bomb threat, and the two departments are conferring on the matter, according to a Salisbury PD spokesman.
