Salisbury Mall Evacuated After Bomb Threat

SALISBURY, Md. (AP) -- Salisbury Police continue to search the Centre at Salisbury mall after the mall was evacuated after reported bomb threat.

The regional indoor mall was evacuated about 11 a.m. Friday after Delaware State Police got a tip that there was a bomb there.

Police said Friday afternoon that the mall would remain closed Friday and reopen at its regular time on Saturday.

Capt. Scott Kolb tells The Daily Times of Salisbury that bomb-sniffing dogs were on their way from other agencies to search the mall.
