Sail Baltimore Welcomes Back Tall Ship 'Kalmer Nyckel'

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Sail Baltimore welcomes back the tall ship Kalmer Nyckel to the Inner Harbor this weekend.

The Kalmar Nyckel is a replica of the original Swedish ship that set sail for the new world in 1638.

The original ship made four round-trip voyages across the North Atlantic to help bring settlers to the area.

Today the public was invited on board the 141-foot long ship to learn about its story of exploration and adventure.
