Ryan Mallett Creates Social Media Buzz In Baltimore
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Baltimore seemed to welcome Ryan Mallett with open arms as the quarterback had a career-high game with 274 yards on 28-of-41 passing and the first touchdown of the season just 12 days after signing with the Ravens.
Mallett appeared to have control of the offense. "If you look at him, you were in the huddle, you'd think he'd been here all year, the way he carried himself," Ravens running back Buck Allen said.
Mallett had been in and out of the starting lineup for the Houston Texans the past two years, but was released after he missed a team flight on Oct. 25, but there are more than a few Ravens fans' that aren't too upset he slept in that day.
Why not? Baltimore is used to using Malletts to get the job done. Nice work, @ravens. #NFL #Ravens #RavensNation pic.twitter.com/rVWyAMpVy9

5-10 and beat the Steelers twice, if only we would have played them every game. Haha #FearTheMallett

Charm City welcomes you, Mr. Mallett (but we can't say the crabs are too happy about your presence here).
