Runaway Blimp Could Have Impact On Obama's Military Budget
ABERDEEN, Md. (WJZ) -- The runaway blimp that floated from Aberdeen to Pennsylvania could have an impact on President Obama's proposed military budget.
So far, no members of the Defense Appropriations Committee have opposed funding.

In October, one of the JLENS military blimps used for surveillance came off it's tether in Aberdeen launching a massive hunt for it. Several hours later the blimp was seen in a rural area of Pennsylvania, where it was shot down after it cause massive power outages in that region.
It took several days for workers to removed the pieces of the blimp from the wooded area where it landed in Pennsylvania.

But some say that they want to wait until after the Army's investigation.
