Suspect Killed On Beltway After Police Pursuit, Beltway Crash
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A suspect in an armed Montgomery County robbery was struck and killed on I-495 after police say he attempted to flee on foot.
It started when a group of armed suspects entered a Montgomery County business around 12:30 p.m., which led to a police pursuit of the suspect vehicle.
Officers followed the van on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway and the van crashed with five suspect inside, hitting at least two other vehicles.
The suspect who tried to flee was hit by an unmarked police car.
Four suspects have been taken into custody.

The accident caused major delays on the Beltway during rush hour.
