Rob Long: Ravens-Panthers Preview

I know the Baltimore Ravens are having to make adjustments because of injuries, but Sunday's game is at M&T Bank Stadium and that matters for the Ravens.

We can expect it to be an emotional game for Steve Smith, Sr. and we can expect Joe Flacco to take advantage of that. I don't expect the Ravens' offense to go off and score 30 plus points, but I do expect them to have some momentum and use the running game to establish themselves early and often.

The defense is the biggest question mark for me. If Terrell Suggs and company does not disrupt the passing game of the Panthers, expect Cam Newton to have a big game. I don't expect Newton to have a big game. There's no way Dean Pees will just sit back and let that happen. If the Ravens can't get there with four, I will be greatly disappointed if Pees doesn't send more.
