Rob Long: Everything Is Inbounds

The Norris and Davis Show does a segment called "What I Learned." Well I learned something today.

If you're in the clubhouse of the Baltimore Orioles, everything is inbounds. If the players know you, sometimes you become the subject of the joke. It's not cruel behavior, it's what happens in that setting. I should know better than to hang around with Jerry Coleman. You become a target.

So, on Tuesday, the team was headed to Dunedin, Florida to take on the Toronto Blue Jays. I saw all of the bags packed and sitting by the lockers. As the players were leaving, I saw Adam Jones getting dressed so I asked him if he was taking the trip. The rest seemed like a classic skit for Saturday Night Live.

I also had the chance to speak with several members of the Orioles' bullpen. They are pumped up for the 2016 seasons. They feel, collectively, they can be a difference maker and I agree. While you have players who clearly want to be in the starting rotation, they've embraced the challenge that's ahead. Stay tuned...
