Residents Catch Burglary Suspect, Hold Him Until Police Arrive

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A burglary suspect is behind bars after police say residents caught him and were able to detain him until officers arrived.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department was called at 2:20 a.m. on Monday, about a burglary in the 2600 block of Waltham Court in Crofton.

Responding officers saw two men in the kitchen, and were told one of the men, Bradley Allen Lawson, was a burglary suspect.

A woman told officers that while she was sleeping, Lawson, 38, had gone into her bedroom.

After waking up, she noticed Lawson and told her boyfriend, who chased him into the kitchen, and detained him until officers arrived.
