Remains Found In Woodbridge Identified As Homicide Victim

WOODBRIDGE, Va. (AP) -- Prince William County Police say the man whose remains were found in Woodbridge was the victim of a homicide.

The remains were found Sept. 29 in a wooded area. The medical examiner identified the man as 19-year-old Guillermo Hernandez Leyva of Montgomery County, Maryland. Police says his death was ruled a homicide; the cause is still under investigation.

Officers say no suspects have been identified and Hernandez Leyva has no known ties to the Prince William County area.
