Record Low Temperature Set

Baltimore (AP)-- A record low minimum temperature of 24 degrees was set at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall airport Wednesday morning.

This breaks the old record of 26 degrees set in 1898, and the temperature may continue to drop.

Records at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall airport go back to 1950 with additional records from downtown Baltimore extending the period of record back to 1870.
