Recapping An Eventful Weekend Of College Football With Ralph Russo

Associated Press College Football Writer Ralph Russo took some time out of his busy day writing for the AP to discuss some of the things that surprised him over the first full weekend of college football.

Cardale Jones starting under center for the Buckeyes was a big one, but Ralph also tells us that the move makes sense when you take a closer look at Ohio State's schedule. Temple's upset of Penn State also surprised Ralph.

Texas was dominated by Vinny's Golden Domes in impressive fashion and the guys talk about how hot head coach Charlie Strong's seat may be getting. Ralph believes that Charlie won't let the Longhorns "bottom out".

We couldn't let Ralph go without asking about the Khaki'd Crusader, Jim Harbaugh. He tells us that under Harbaugh, Michigan does not look as "hopeless and helpless" as they did under former head coach, Brady Hoke.
