Realty Company Pays $11.5M For Owings Mills Mall

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- A realty company is moving forward with big plans for the now shuttered Owings Mills Mall.

The interior of the mall was closed last fall, while the final store there, Macy's, closed its doors in November.,

According to the Baltimore Business Journal, Kimco Realty paid $11.5 million to take ownership of the property and will convert the mall into an open air center.
