RB Trent Richardson Sheds 22 Pounds, Feels 'War Ready'

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Trent Richardson has been bounced around the NFL for a few years now, but recently, the running back signed a deal with the Baltimore Ravens before the start of the offseason workout program and is working hard to stick around through the regular season.

The former University of Alabama running back has dropped 22 pounds and is "war ready" and "in the best shape of his life," according to his trainer, Mike McCoy.

With players like Justin Forsett, Buck Allen, Terrance West and Lorenzo Taliaferro, already on the roster, Richardson will have to prove himself to the Ravens to guarantee a spot on the 53-man roster come September but it looks like he is up for the challenge.
