Ray Rice Fallout Continues As New Video Surfaces

BALTIMORE (WJZ) --- The Ray Rice fallout continues. Tonight, a third video has surfaced of the former Ravens domestic violence incident that took place inside an Atlantic City casino elevator.

Rick Ritter has more on the video released.

According to the ABC report, Rice tried to legally block the release of the new video this week in New Jersey, but was unsuccessful.

From a knockout punch to a makeup kiss, for the first time, we're seeing the nasty aftermath of the assault that sent Ray Rice's career tumbling.

Footage obtained exclusively by ABC shows an emotional Janay minutes after the incident last February with security stepping between her and Rice as he tries desperately to speak with her.

A short time later, the two are led away by police officers and security.

That's when the video shows Rice and Palmer cuffed in an elevator, kissing and nuzzling, before put into separate police cars, taken to be booked and processed.

Since winning his appeal of the NFL's indefinite suspension, Rice hasn't shied away from the camera.

Earlier this week, the former Raven opens up to WJZ at a charity event with his ex-teammate Torrey Smith.

"I made a horrible mistake in my life, but if they truly believe in second chances, they'll forgive me," Rice said.

Besides scoring touchdowns, it's what Rice was known for best in Baltimore, giving back.

"It does feel good to be out and be among the Baltimore community and just to give back.. that's always in my heart and it feels good," Rice said.

As for the former star running back's disastrous night in Atlantic City continues to linger, Rice remains hopeful for another shot in the NFL.

"I think all the fans here and the people here really look deep into who I am," Rice said. "Baltimore you know I always love you and I'll be here for life."

In an interview today, Rice's attorney, Peter Ginsberg, comment on the video being released saying "this is a time of healing, Ray, quite naturally did not want another media showing of what must have been the worst event of his life."

Rice has a pending wrongful termination grievance against the Ravens.
