Rawlings-Blake: We're More Than Prepared, Be Patient
BALTIMORE (WJZ)—As the storm powers up the East Coast officials in Baltimore City and County say they are ready.
475 pieces of equipment are revving up in Baltimore County just waiting.
"So I can only tell you, winter is coming, but our realm will be protected," said Baltimore County Executive, Kevin Kamenetz.
Kamenetz says his more than 550 workers won't miss a beat, but it's going to cost the city $52,000 every single hour.
"We told them all to go to bed early last night, because that's the last night they're going to have a good night's sleep in a long period of time," said Kamenetz.

In the City Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake says they are ready too.
"The bottom line is we're busting our tail to be ready, we need people to have common sense and patience," Rawlings-Blake said. "We've got more equipment than we ever had, we're more prepared than we've ever been, but if people are stupid out on the road, that messes everything up."
At this time MTA is scaling back services and by midnight service will be suspended.
