Ravens Promote Mornhinweg, Harbaugh Has High Expectations
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Baltimore Ravens have shaken things up and are promoting Quarterbacks Coach Marty Mornhinweg to Offensive Coordinator for the for the Ravens.
Mornhinweg has been with the Ravens for two seasons. He was previously the head coach of the Detroit Lions from 2001 to 2002 and the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2012.

Most recently before coming to Baltimore, he was the Offensive Coordinator for the New York Jets from 2013 to 2014.
Coach Harbaugh said, "My obligations are to the team, the organization and the fans to be the very best team we can be."
Mornhinweg will be Flacco's fifth offensive coordinator in nine seasons, following Cam Cameron, Jim Caldwell, Kubiak and Trestman.
This isn't the first time Ravens head coach John Harbaugh has fired an offensive coordinator in the middle of a season. Harbaugh fired Cam Cameron and replaced him with quarterbacks coach Jim Caldwell back in 2012 and it just so happens that the Ravens went to the Super Bowl that year.
