Ravens Promote Campanaro To 53-Man Roster, Sign ILB Lamar Louis

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Ravens officially announce WR-PR Michael Campanaro has been promoted from practice squad to 53-man roster.

After the release of veteran returner Devin Hester on Tuesday, Campanaro is likely to become Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

He has five career punt returns with an average of 13.2 yards and three career kick returns with an average of 26.3 yards.

The Ravens also placed RB Lorenzo Taliaferro (hamstring) on injured reserve and signed ILB Lamar Louis, a special teams player who has spent time with both the Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints.

Taliaferro, a fourth-round draft pick in 2014, has ended all three NFL seasons end on injured reserve. He missed the first six games of this season with a foot injury and then a hamstring injury.
