Ravens Player Partners With M&T Bank To Benefit Baltimore Communities

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- M&T Bank and a Ravens star player announced a partnership Monday to benefit Baltimore communities.

Pat Warren has more on who's quarterbacking this team.

In case there's any confusion, the green that Joe Flacco himself is wearing is not for the Philadelphia Eagles---it's for M&T Bank.

Flacco is signing on to M&T as a goodwill ambassador to promote community projects. In recognition of that partnership, the Ravens QB paid a surprise visit to a youth flag football camp in Columbia's Cedar Lane Park.

"It's awesome. It's always fun dealing with kids and you can remember back when you were out there, running around and playing with your buddies," Flacco said.

"It's about our teams coming together to help build a better, stronger, greater Baltimore community," said Augie Chiasera, M&T Bank.

It's a mission Flacco shares.

"And anything I can do to improve that and help out people in the process is just an awesome opportunity for everybody," Flacco said.

Including an invitation to these players to attend Ravens training camp.

M&T and the Ravens also team up on food drives, neighborhood cleanups and fundraisers for non-profits. The relationship between them has recently been extended to 2027.
