Ravens Knew They Wanted Correa After Just 15 Minutes

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Boise State linebacker Kamalei Correa was the Ravens' No. 42 overall pick in the NFL draft.

In his last two seasons, Correa made 19 sacks and 30 tackles for loss. The 6'3", 243 pound linebacker stood out to Baltimore because he's smart, versatile and relentless.

Baltimore wanted to add pass rushers because both Suggs and Dumervil are on the back-nine of their careers, and Suggs is coming off his second torn Achilles in the last four years.

"It didn't take much to figure out that he was our kind of guy," coach John Harbaugh told ESPN. He continued to say, "We knew what his character was. We had 15 minutes; that was all we needed to know."

The Ravens were impressed by Correa's intensity during the interview.
