Ravens Fans 'Sound Off' After RB Ray Rice Arrested In Atlantic City

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The Ray Rice incident is creating a wide range of opinions.

Jessica Kartalija asks--what would you say to Ray Rice if you could talk to him?

"If it's true, then it's very, very disappointing and violence against anybody, especially women, shouldn't be tolerated in any way," said Martin Branagan, Perry Hall.

"He made a simple mistake and he needs to come forward and say what he needs to say about it," Ian Jones from Lansdowne said.

"Without knowing all the facts, I wouldn't say anything to him. This country, you are innocent until proven guilty," said Marion Sparzak, Rosedale.

"It's nobody's business but his own, really, and I just wish that people would leave him alone to work it out. If he's having problems with his wife or fiancée, then he should work that out," Noreen Decker from Fallston said.

"He's young, and unfortunately, we all go through that sometimes--passionate, wild, he's young, he's out drinking. Him and his girlfriend," said Laverne Fields, Baltimore County.

"Seems like he has something to hide. I can't judge him. I wouldn't want to judge him, but that's how it seems when you don't come forward," Jones said.

"I am a Ravens fan. I have a Ravens tattoo on my head that I've had for years and I'm a devoted fan. But without the facts, he is still innocent to me," said Sparzak.

"It doesn't look good. I think he needs to explain exactly what happened," said Dana Potter, Harford County.

"It's obvious they love each other. I would say keep his head up and try not to do that again. Maybe they need counseling," Fields said.
